Low fin tubes/integral fin tubes are increasingly being used in various fluid heat exchangers, such as in coolers, condensers, and chillers. Typically constructed from materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy or copper, providing durability and resistance to corrosion.

Low fin tubes have the following core performance advantages:

• Available in corrosion-resistant alloys (e.g., C70600 Cu-Ni, SS 316, Duplex Steel) for harsh environments.
• 2.5–4× larger surface area than bare tubes, significantly improving heat exchange capacity,enhanced heat transfer efficiency.
• The low-profile fins minimize flow resistance, leading to lower energy consumption in pumping systems.
• Higher heat transfer per unit length reduces the overall size/cost of air cooler bundles, which ideal for retrofit projects where space constraints exist.
