INTRODUCTION

Foam bladder tank is the most comman equipment in fire fighting foam system. It is the source of foam solution in foam fire system. The bladder tank store the foam concentrate usually and mix the foam with water when needed. Bladader tank contracut usually the mild steel with antiseptic finish. A rubber bladder is inside the tank to store foam and isolate water from foam. The sytem with simple structure but provide a solution to store the foam agent and mix foam with water

PRINCIPLE

Pressurized water is the only need power in this system, no need motor, no need diesel. The pressurized water from fire pump flow into proportioner. Some water will get into tank from branch pipe to force foam concentrate out from bladder and then mix with water in proportioner. In this way bladder tank provide foam solution for foam discharge and generate untis such as foam monitors, foam nozzles, foam chambers, etc.

PARAMETERS

INSTALLATION

Device should be installed at places with shelter to avoid sun and rain. Ambient temperature should be within 40°C and leave enough space for operation. Device should be installed at concrete floor and fastened with anchor nuts.

Do the hydraulic test after installing. Open the tank vent valve first then fill water into bladder from concentrate draining pipe. Then close tank vent valve when bladder is full of water. Pressurize the system and keeping for 10 minutes when pressure gets test pressure, tank should have no leakage. Close water inlet valve and open water drainage valve and concentrate drainage valve to drain water away in tank and bladder. (We will do this test when products leave the factory)
